Cap Bounces Back With A Big Win Over San Mateo

Surviving three first half fumbles, Capuchino's running game pounded San Mateo for four quarters Friday, producing four touchdowns and a two TD cushion.

Tarik Moore returned to action showing no ill side-effects of his injured shoulder that caused him to miss the end of last week's game against Hillsdale. Between Moore (#5) and Gabe Campos (#31), the Bearcats had all they could handle.

Defensively, the Mustangs were, once again, impressive.

The score, 28-14, while a typical football score, highlights a major upgrade to Cap's special teams. Between Juan Rodriguez's (#81) booming kickoffs and Carlos Barahona's (#40) point after kicks, Cap has become a very well-rounded team. Barahona made all four of his PAT attempts.

Next up, Carlmont.
